Hi, I was wondering whether there are any places in which it would be appropriate to wear a gown and suit. I’ve been thinking of these ideas so far:. Also, what are the best hotel restaurants? We don’t want to stay at a hotel for accommodation, but I just think restaurants in hotels have a nice, chill setting. Also are there any restaurants with live music? Like with a mini orchestra playing or someone playing the piano or something fancy like that.
Great idea! But we really want to dress up. Why the need for dress ups? It’s not the s anymore. It’s pretty trendy. I can’t think of any places that have a ‘gown and suit’ dress code, but if they exist they would be way over budget.

Matthew Maynard, 24, of Penlan, Swansea, South Wales, was jailed for 16 weeks on Friday for breaching the conditions of a month suspended sentence for handling stolen goods. Maynard appeared at Swansea Crown Court after his arrest at a city barber’s shop, where he was getting a haircut, on Wednesday. His stunt with a home-made mug-shot had attracted nationwide publicity after it appeared in the Swansea Evening Post earlier this month.
The newspaper had originally carried an official mug-shot of him on its front page, along with seven others, as part of a police campaign calling on the public to help track down wanted criminals. But Maynard phoned the newspaper, claiming he was unhappy with his mug-shot, and sent them in one of his own instead. A week after it appeared on the front page again, he was arrested in Swansea.
Andrew Evans, defending, told the court that Maynard now regretted the way he had handled things. Even though it has been suggested that he kept up a game of cat and mouse with the police, he never left the area. Helen Edwards, prosecuting, had outlined a series of other charges against Maynard during the hearing. They included allegations of grievous bodily harm with intent on a police officer in connection with his arrest this week, and an allegation of ABH on his own partner last month.
